A quick update at 7.5 months in. The size and separation is coming along really good. I have kept the symmetry in check making sure of balanced growth as typically some body parts are responding faster than others. The main goal now is to solidify the gains by targeting deep in the muscle - simply instead of the muscle being blown up with 'air' like balloons - the approach is more filling them up with cement - much harder looking. This way they feel like they're carved from stone. Really positive about the workouts, in there hard and focussed with no BS... the rebuild is on track. Should have pics up in a couple of weeks.

Another update at the 8 month stage of the rebuild. * months in and feeling good. Took some shots today - unfortunately not the best quality - not picking up the improved detail which is obvious in person . I've made considerable improvements overall adding size and shape and while keeping an eye on balance. Vascularity is also improving throughout - with the arms, shoulders, back, legs and chest coming up nicely. Still keeping the sessions short and sweet - no longer than 50 mins. Motivation is high - I'm slowly but surely getting there but taking it day by day - I'm really enjoying meeting personal goals and the challenges each session brings. Anyway here's the pics as usual plus a most muscular thrown in for fun and for old times sake.

It's 8 weeks until xmas and that will mark the end of the first phase of the rebuild, I'm looking at hopefully adding another 3-5kg of mass by xmas, have a week break and get into the second phase of the rebuild were the serious stuff really kicks in, I'll be aiming at 6-8kg of lean muscle gain over the next year.

    Thanks guys.

I've put on another 2kg - so am ontrack for the 3-5kg gain before xmas. The workouts have been pretty grueling - so I'm emphasizing taking it easy during the recuperation time. I also measured up my calves today and they came in at just under 19 inches. I've intentionally been going light on the thighs just to keep them from overpowering the total body balance - but now may have to bump them up a little over the coming months to maintain proportions with the calves.

I've had a bit of a growth spurt and have almost reached the weight goal, well within the set time. I've added more thickness to the major muscle groups while relatively maintaining the quality and balance. Have also come into a new level of focus and intensity which I haven't experienced for years. So that is quite encouraging - It's all slowly coming together. Looking forward leading to the xmas break and seeing what further improvements can be made. I'll post some pics in a couple of weeks.

Thanks T2. The increased progress I've made in the past few weeks have come as a pleasant surprise as I was making steady regular progress prior - (it may very well be the emphasis on recuperation) - it's definately taken things to the next level.

Mino with the diet nothing is set in stone but do have almost hourly feeds throughout the day, with eggs, oats, rice, chicken, red meat, fish and salads eaten everyday in small meals. I also throw in some junk food on a weekly basis to keep things interesting. I take it day by day and depending on appetite will increase or skip a meal. I'll also make sure that my bodyfat levels are moderate and don't start creeping up. I don't like to force feed myself so if I don't feel up to a meal I'd put it off an hour or so or bin it. Lately I've been eating slightly larger portions as I'm feeling I need more energy for the workouts.
