i've got more arriving tomorrow. Some Cortisol support and ginseng

Most of my powders actually come from Ben's store now (Bulk Nutrients) even though they're in 1fast400 tubs. I actually ordered another kilo of Arginine half an hour ago. Thanks Ben!

Ohhhhhh man. Who cares what scars you have. It's somthing to smile about with how far you have come. No one judges you on where you came from(well they shouldn't) only where your at. And you have every right to be loud and proud about it.
    That's awesome Jaiman. Ditto here.

Hey DAVA, looking excellent, you should be very proud! You timed it wrong though - its getting too cold to take your shirt off on the beach now!

Good work DAVA keep it up.
Tell me, you say the past 3 years have been not as productive as the last few months now that you have the diet in order, besides the diet have you incorporated a diiferent approach to training?
What major difference have you noticed, and what where you doing so wrong that the previous period seems almost a waste?

    a couple of things mate.
i embraced the whole bulking - cutting cycle thing. whereas before i was trying to stay fairly lean all the time

Major training changes - drop weights in all exercise and substitute for better, slower form.
Bench dropped initially from 110kgs to 60kgs (its now back up to around 85kgs).
Bicep curls with Db's dropped from 32.5kgs each to 12.5 - 15kgs each. Yeah i know, "Warm up" weight right? Bloody kills when done right.
Shoulder press on hammer strength dropped from 140kgs to around 90 - 95kgs but much slower. My shoulders are much bigger for it.

    etc etc

I'm also using alot more supplements. Too many to list to be honest.

It took me along time to get my head around lowering the weight, too, man. Although Im pretty weak at the moment anyway, I try to keep the heavy lifts to a minimum, well as heavy as form allows, though I still tend to chuck in a heavy set here and there.

Absolutely agree in keeping the weights light to moderate. Again it's a bit of an ego thing with the heavy weights, a whole lot more can be achieved by going lower, with better form and really squeezing - putting the 'mind in the muscle'.

i actually get an ego boost when people see my ratio of muscle-size-to-weights-lifted. They genuinely look puzzled when they're swinging their 40kg DB's around the place

Agreed. I also like the ones who tell you about how they lift more than you... yet look like shit. I feel like telling them "I'll start training like you when I decide I want to look like you."

I took DAVA's advice recently and lowered the weight a bit on my dumbell curls and tricep pushdowns/dips. Well, I concentrated on keeping my elbows back therefore improving form and therefore needing to drop the weight! And my arms are actually feeling more of a burn afterwards!

ok, here's the leg shots you asked for:

i dont really train quads very much anymore, though i do alot of running and cardio and train calves fairly intensely every week.

I've recently started some leg extensions etc in the last 2 weeks to assist with knee pain when running
