I believe that you've done it mate - you can tell you have a lot more definition in the arms compared to a year ago and you're definitely looking much trimmer. Nice work, inspires us strugglers to keep working for what we want, although you have a lazy 8 years headstart. haha
Not all science is reality.. Lookin good :)
and those who've been around for a while will know that i had a full 2 months off the gym with a broken collarbone + surgery from 12 Nov to around middle of Jan this year
Dava, just one question - when you get down to your goal bf%, how long are you intending on maintaining that?
Ohhhhhh man. Who cares what scars you have. It's somthing to smile about with how far you have come. No one judges you on where you came from(well they shouldn't) only where your at. And you have every right to be loud and proud about it.
I know exactly how you feel mate. I don't really have stretch marks (I'm lucky) but there's definitely signs of them there. I went from ~90kg to 115kg in the period of about 4 months because of a diet change when I went to work on an Island. Came back from there and worked my arse off for about 6 months and got myself down to a happy 88kg. Let it build back up over a year or so (mainly in the later part of the year) to about 105kg just by being lazy and focusing on uni studies.
Uni is now over and I'm aiming for 80kg ASAHP (As Soon As Healthily Possible). But you are 100% correct, at anything over 95kg, there's really nothing to smile about. You lose confidence in yourself and the motivation to achieve your goals. Im back under 100kg now (roughly 98.5kg) and feeling better (most likely the serotonine release) but I know I still have such a long way to go.
Broke down the other night just thinking about the work I have to put in and the stupidity that I displayed by letting all of my previous hardwork go to waste when it could have been utilised to build my body the way I want. I was in perfect condition to build some muscle. All of the sweat and pain that was put into getting there, really hurts when you know you're going to be going through it all again.
Cheers mate.
You're a beast pablo! I didn't realise you got down to 82kg last year? Nice blue singlet tho, can I have it? Can finally see your abs in one of those shots ;) We should do a Charlie's Angels side bicep pose and post it up here.
man,a little off topic, but you got to show us a pic of your supplements pantry.
